More than 2,000 dismissed teachers Recalled in Plateau

Simon Bako Lalong, the Plateau State Governor, has on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr celebration. pleaded with the entire Muslim Ummah in the country.

He urged citizens of the State to keep praying vigorously for the President, Muhammadu Buhari’s recovery and for the peace and unity of the nation, Nigeria.

On Saturday,  in a statement issued in Jos by Dr. Emmanuel Nanle, his Director, Press and Public Affairs, the governor urged all citizens of the state to “live in harmony with one another and practice their religion in love, truth and in peace.”

While urging the Muslim faithful to reflect on the lessons learnt during the Ramadan period and on the meaning of fasting as a religious duty, Lalong appealed with them to let its true meaning reflect deeply in their lives and on the good impact it would make in the lives of others.
The governor laid emphasis on the fact that the integrity of love and tolerance, religion would be meaningless and peace and stability would be misplaced in the society.
