Pinterest has launched a feature that will be very useful for companies that have a corporate blog or wish to automatically publish content on their website to their Pinterest profile.

Until now you had to resort to third-party applications, but Pinterest already allows you to connect your own RSS feed to a corporate account to publish content automatically. That if, when the RSS feed is updated, the content is published on the selected boards within 24 hours, a period of time somewhat higher than that handled by other external applications such as, where the process of Publication is automatic.

Pinterest’s own function does not allow you to connect RSS feeds from websites other than the company’s corporate one. You can add as many RSS feeds as you want, but as long as they belong to the corporate website or blog of the company that owns the corporate account on Pinterest. In addition, each feed can publish content on different boards.

At the moment, the function to connect RSS feeds can only be used by business accounts and is available to some users, although Pinterest has pointed out that in the coming days it is a function that is available in all corporate profiles.

What is also interesting is that in countries where you can upload product catalog to Pinterest (United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland). You can also upload these through the RSS connection, updating the board automatically when new products are uploaded to the web.

To connect an RSS feed on Pinterest.

Simply access the Settings menu located in the upper right corner of the screen.

In the menu on the left, click on Connect.

If the corporate account has a website connected, the option “Publish automatically” will be displayed. When pressed, a field will appear in which you can paste the URL of the RSS feed you want to use.

By doing so, you can select the board on which you want to publish the content of that RSS feed, even a secret one , but of course, users will not see the published content. You can also create a new one to publish content on it.

The RSS feed would already be connected, you just have to wait 24 hours to start watching content published on it.
