cross river communal clashes

The Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, criticized those who were deliberately engaging in the destruction of properties as well as the killings in the recent communal clashes between the Wanikade and Wanihem communities in the Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The Acting President has ordered security agencies to put plans and measures in place to combat the violence and also stop the further breakdown of law and order in the affected communities and their environs.
